WINCHESTER BASEBALL serves kids in the Winchester. Frederick, Clarke, and Warren Counties in Virginia as well as Hampshire and Hardy County in West Virginia.

The Cal Ripken division of baseball has many different levels of play to include all children ages 4-8. There are a few basic points common to all.

*The program is available to every child regardless of his/her experience or skill abilities.
*Every child is placed on a team based upon consideration of his/her age and skill. This system has enough overlap to ensure that each child will have the most fun and be most successful.
*This program is diverse enough to provide appropriate and exciting competition from the beginner to the most highly skilled player.
*All players and coaches are covered by Babe Ruth's comprehensive accident and liability insurance.
*Every player plays a significant portion of every game.
.*Every team's equipment is of the highest safety standards.
*Cal Ripken Babe Ruth baseball is available for every youngster that resides in FREDERICK, CLARKE & WARREN COUNTIES or WINCHESTER CITY, and in WEST VIRGINIA-HAMPSHIRE & HARDY COUNTIES.

Our program strives to create an atmosphere on which players develop their skills to obtain the highest level of baseball possible. Winchester baseball has successfully taught local players the game resulting in many of our former players playing at the high school and college levels. As a result, Robert D. Brown "Bob" was recognized in 2010 by being elected to the Babe Ruth South East Regional Hall Of Fame as well for its contributions to local baseball and over all commitments to the youth of the Winchester Area

.T-Ball ($55.00) is for children 5-6 years of age. This is Babe Ruth's first level of play, and it offers more than any other t-ball program. A batting tee will be used. This allows each child to learn the fundamentals and techniques of batting. Machine Pitch ($70.00):  Serves 6-8 year old. A safe t-ball is used. Fundamental defensive skills are taught while offensive aspects of the game are emphasized. The accuracy of the pitching machine provides the arena for plenty of action and excitement.
